It was great to return to Gold Rush after being on maternity leave with my daughter Adeline! I enjoyed visiting your children in their classrooms and seeing how much they have grown since the fall. I was excited to see students in all grade levels collaborating with their classmates. Many students were using what they were learning about narrative, opinion and informational writing to provide meaningful feedback to their writing partners. I was proud of students' ability to communicate their ideas and suggestions in positive, supportive ways. I was also excited to see how they have grown as authors!
PRIMARY STUDENTS PROMOTE HEALTH & WELLNESS
The first and second grade performance focused on health and wellness. Students sang and performed movement routines that celebrated healthy behaviors. Students also created artwork that supported healthy lifestyles. We thank the specials teachers for preparing students for this event. We look forward to the final performances on March 3!
