HALLOWEEN
Students enjoyed letting their creativity shine through their Halloween costumes!  They also enjoyed their Halloween parties and the school parade.  Several students went on to write personal narratives about the special day.  Check out a few students' great looks and work below.

THANKSGIVING FEAST
Please join us for our Annual Thanksgiving Family Feast and Celebration of Learning on Wednesday, November 15th.  Enjoy a Thanksgiving meal with your child and view his/her great work in the classroom during Celebrations of Learning.

2018-2019 ENROLLMENT CONFIRMATION
It's hard to believe, but we will be starting the planning process for next school year soon.  In order to assist us in this planning, complete the enrollment confirmation survey for your child(ren) by Friday, November 17th.  Please click here for the enrollment survey.  This will help ensure your child's classroom placement for the next year.



MEETING STUDENTS' INDIVIDUAL NEEDS IN MATH
Teachers in all grade levels are posing open ended tasks and questions as one way to meet students' individual needs in the area of math.  Open ended tasks have multiple solutions and allow students to approach the problem using different processes or strategies. They also allow students at different stages of mathematical development grow. Teachers will continue to develop and reflect upon these types of problems during our professional development day on Tuesday.
